Great work, John. In part two, I'm hearing strains of Bittersweet Symphony, I think? This is a masterpiece taken as a whole. That's a beautiful chord progression in part 4... no doubt who one of your heroes is - I dunno, it's all Greek to me, though part 8 is a bit of a clue, I guess!

Love this album! 'Tis like art pop/rock with progressive roots. On The Bridge sends me with its stage/screen sound and soul searching lone piano and love how this piece is reflected again on Rescue. Overthinking feels like a prog classic doorway into the rest of the album. John's voice phenomenal has universal appeal. Love the atmospherics - ghostly, wild. Blown away by the Anania tribal like rhythms - and performance on The Battle. Can hear elements of Gabriel, Collins, Joe Jackson. Five stars!

So enjoyed this album, infectiously interesting, superb musicianship. Robin Schell's strong voice has a great timbre a classic progressive feel. Anything Left Of Me Now's acoustic guitar is a super-tingler. Hollywood Hates You what a mammoth show, great lyrical idea, and love the musical arrangement - clever contrasts of complexity and simplicity sublime, seamless transitions and (am hearing) nods to The Who, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles. Highly Recommended.
